NTPC Green Energy Q3 results: NTPC Green Energy Limited announced its October to December quarter results on Saturday, January 25. The company recorded an 18 per cent year-on-year (YoY) rise in net profits for the third quarter at ₹65.61 crore, compared to ₹55.61 crore in the same quarter a year ago, as per the consolidated financial statements.
According to the exchange filing, the revenue from operations rose 13.2 per cent to ₹505.08 crore in the third quarter, compared to ₹446.14 crore in the same quarter the previous year.
According to the results data, the total expenses for the company rose 26 per cent to ₹482.22 crore, compared year-on-year with ₹383.28 crore in the same quarter the previous year.
Taking a closer look at the expenses, the renewable energy company’s financing costs for the October to December quarter rose 19 per cent to ₹206 crore, compared to ₹173 crore in the previous financial year.
NTPC Green Energy’s standalone net profits for the quarter surged 52 per cent to ₹89.42 crore, when compared year-on-year with ₹58.73 crore in the same quarter the previous year.
NTPC Green Energy was listed on the Indian stock market in the end of November 2024, when the company raised ₹10,000 crore from the stock market investors.

NTPC Green Energy Limited shares closed 0.84 per cent lower at ₹112.15 after Friday’s trading session, compared to ₹113.10 at the previous market close.
Shares of the state-owned renewable energy firm hit their 52-week high at ₹155.30 on December 4, 2024, while the 52-week low level was at ₹109.40 on January 13, 2025. As of January 25, 2025, the market capitalisation of NTPC Green Energy stands at ₹94,501.29 crore.
The NTPC Green Energy shares are trading 11.41 per cent lower on a year-to-date (YTD) basis, and the company has given (9.44)% returns since its public listing in November 2024.
