Classroom To Courtroom Book Launch and 29th Udbhav Cultural Award Ceremony concluded along with eminent personalities like former Chief Justice of India K.G. Balakrishnan and International President of Vishwa Hindu Parishad Alok Kumar

New Delhi 20 November 2024, In the Udbhav Cultural Award and Book Launch Ceremony organized by the country’s prestigious social, cultural and literary organization “Udbhav” at the Triveni Auditorium in New Delhi, former Chief Justice of India K. G. Balakrishnan, Senior Advocate and International President of Vishwa Hindu Parishad Alok Kumar, Shri Pradeep Rai, Senior Advocate, Supreme Court Former Vice – President, SCBA, Senior Hindi activist Indrajit Sharma from America, Senior litterateur and educationist Dr. Arun Prakash Dhoundiyal, educationist and writer Dr. Ashok Pandey released the Book “Classroom to Courtroom” Authored by Abhinav S Raghuvanshi, AOR, Supreme Court of India.

On this occasion, in the series of Udbhav Sammans, Principal of Hansraj College, Delhi University, Educationist and Professor Ms. Rama, Principal of Maharaja Agrasen College, Delhi University, Professor- Sanjeev Kumar Tiwari, and Senior Satirist Subhash Chander were honoured with the “Udbhav Shikhar Samman“.

In this sequence, among the prominent personalities who were decorated with Udbhav Cultural Samman-2024 were Professor Dr. Pushpa Dahiya, Gynecologist at Rohtak PGI, Professor Dr. Kiran Dangwal, Head of Sociology and Social Work Department, H.N. Bahuguna Garhwal University, Srinagar, Professor Dr. Parin Somani, Director and CEO of London Organization of Skill Development, Dr. Shravan Bagaria, Special Secretary, Environment and Forest Department, Government of Delhi, Dr. Ashutosh Garg, Head of Critical Care Medicine Department at Kailash Deepak Hospital Delhi, Naresh Baisla, Producer Director and President of Art Creations Culture Society Delhi, Dr. Nishant Jaimini, Head of Department, Primus Super Specialty Hospital Delhi, Advocate and social worker Shiv Prasad Jaiswal and educationist-poet Awadhesh Tiwari.

This important ideological and cultural event was presided by the Justice K.G. Balakrishnan and compared by Dr. Vivek Gautam, General Secretary and Poet “Udbhav”.

 Addressing the gathering on this occasion, the Chief Guest Alok Kumar said that there is a deep interrelationship between meaningful work and honours. Humanity can be saved only through good conduct, literature and cultural consciousness.

In his presidential address, Justice K.G. Balakrishnan said that a person is evaluated on the basis of his field of work, personal life and human values.

Both Chief Guest Alok Kumar and Justice K.G. Balakrishnan appreciated the efforts of Advocate Abhinav S Raghuvanshi for Authoring his book – Classroom To Courtroom, on such subject for Young Lawyers. The author in his address explained the objective behind the writing the Book and as to how it would help to address the concern of stakeholders of the Judiciary in regards to addressing ‘Entry Level Barriers’ for Young Lawyers. In recent past, there has been a concerning trend where bright young legal minds are increasingly gravitating towards corporate law firms or leaving law altogether to pursue managerial roles.

Special guests Dr. Ashok Pandey, Dr. Arun Prakash Dhoundiyal, Pradeep Rai, Indrajit Sharma from America, author of the released book Abhinav Raghuvanshi and Dr. Rama also expressed their views in the program. In the end, well-known publisher Vikram Dwivedi expressed his gratitude.
